Music, writing, riding, and other great activities I haven’t discovered yet all keep me busy and make life interesting. I stepped waaayyy out of my comfort zone to do these things, and sometimes I stepped into something squishy and smelly that I wish I hadn’t. Sometimes my efforts resulted in epic fails, but I have had to grow, sometimes kicking and screaming, as a result. It has been a great ride so far, and it always gets even better after I pick myself up and get back on!
I am inspired by my music students’ willingness to put themselves out there in order to improve, and I want to share that with others, especially those who think they are “too old”, or that it is “too late.” We are bombarded with those kinds of messages all the time, and I refuse to accept them. You should, too!
I’ve learned a lot, and I’m here to encourage others to step out their comfort zones and try something or everything they’ve always wanted to do to but always found reasons not to. I am also excited to get to know my blog’s readers and to start conversations about these ideas. No more excuses, friends! Let’s do this!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope that you find inspiration to make your life extraordinary!
